A good hotel for short or long term stay. Quite old now, I am told it is one of the oldest in Jeddah, but comfortable and good food. In the old part of town, so the neighbourhood is quite untidy and dirty, but inside it's fine. Some of the rooms are showing signs of age, but not too bad and still very comfortable and all the facilities you could ask for. Also nice outdoor pool and very good gym. The real value of the hotel is the staff. They are truly very good indeed. Who ever chooses and then trains them is doing a great job. That is not to take away from the qualities of the people themselves. They work hard to make your stay pleasant and enjoyable. Doesn't matter if it is reception, room boy, waiters or bellboys in the lobby. They are all very helpful and attentive. The only area I feel the hotel could improve in is that they allow smoking in the restaurant. A serious no no for a good hotel in this class and the other one is that they have the most awful noise going in the public areas of the hotel that claims to be music. It's kind of nothing music and goes on and on and is badly distorted by the sound system. Dreadful. Those two things aside, it's a really nice place to stay.
Room Tip: Rooms on the back of the hotel are away from road noise
