“Best option in Hama”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 March 2011

I loved my stay at this hotel/hostel - great location, 5 mins walk from the Noriahs and the Old City. The first juice bar as you turn left out of the hotel does great smoothies too! I actually requested a mattress on the roof to keep my costs down. This was by far the best roof terrace I stayed on in my travels around the Middle East. It wasn't too big, private and the hotel offered clean, comfortable mattresses and sheets.
HOWEVER, there are a number of mosque minarets dotted around the hotel and the 4am call to prayer will probably wake you up if you choose to sleep on the roof, but I didn't mind at all as it was extremely atmospheric. Enjoy!

“Clean, comfortable hotel which is reasonably priced.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 February 2011

I've stayed in this hotel on numerous occasions. Honest & friendly owners. Good breakfast. Rooms are clean & many of them have their own bathrooms. TV is normally present in rooms. Located in centre of town. Owners can arrange trips to surrounding sites at reasonable prices. Those on a tight budget can sleep on the roof.

“Nice rooms and centrally located”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 December 2010

While more expensive than a hostel type place, you get a real room, with TV, A/C, decent sized bathroom, etc. Breakfast was fine. Good location. Also has good rates for day tours that take you to all the sties around Hama.

“Good for backpackers”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 November 2010

The location is very good- central and not far away from Nori wheels. It is plenty of restaurants offering shaorma and local specialities. The hotel is worth his price-clean with hot water only the internet didn't work and the hotel staff couldn't repair it. It is possible to change the money at regular rate and get many useful informations at the desk. The hotel offers many trips around Hama. I recommend Apamea and dead cities.
