What a beautiful spot in crazy,This property is an oasis of elegance and charm. From the moment we got there it was first class all the way. The room was a good size, the bed was huge and very comfortable.
Location is great - walking distance to the lake and small streets for some local food & shopping. Highly recommended- we only wish that we could have stayed longer!

We stayed here for 4 nights and were well looked after. The hotel is far enough away to be quiet, but close enough to be able to walk everywhere. The staff are very friendly, the grasp of English for some is not great but they are all so pleasant and will help us along with a few Laos words.

We had a Garden rooms with a decent walk in showers. Free internet was a waste of time as it was so slow, better to go to a cafe in town, they are so cheap and much faster.

Pool area nice to relax in, pool nice but quite cold, I could only just manage a swim but felt nice and refreshed afterwards! January gets very cool in the evening so the pool does not have a chance to retain the heat gained in the day.

Great historic charmer. Loved every minute of our stay. Food at the restaurant was excellent. Try the pho for breakfast, much healthier than a western breakfast.
Spa massage was sensational.

Apart from a good location, walking distance to most sights, and reasonably good service, this hotel has modern well equipped rooms (garden wing) that are nonetheles on the small side, skimpy and impractical shower rooms; suites in the main residence are ok but terribly overpriced. Breakfast is not up to Asian standards.
A big deception, not a 5 stars hotel!
(ps: I never had toilet paper of such poor quality, not even in the USSR!)
