Hotel in LP

We stayed 5 nights. The hotel was clean and neat, room size was okay. Very friendly and helpful staff. We had a double room in the extension. Hotel staff showed us the room before we moved in by own initiative. Try to get a room in upper floor as the rooms have wooden floors. Breakfast was very good (scrambled eggs or omelet, no buffet). Location was perfect, in quiet side street to main road, next to night market. Most interesting places in walkable distance. Wifi worked most of the time.

Have stayed a Villa Phathana a few times and you really cant beat its great location. The rooms vary in size but are all very comfortable and quiet. The breakfast is WONDERFUL! Staff are always there to help out with anything you need including tuk tuks out of town or advise on what to do and where to go. I will definately stay there again and again - it always feels like home...

We ended up at Villa Phathana after finding the more popular hotels were full. The room we stayed in overlooking the street and the palace was huge and comfortable. The monks came past in the morning and we were just around the corner from all the action in the main street. The only complaint was the quality of the free breakfast - not so great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We'd definitely look it up again if we went back.

We stayed at Villa Phathana after reading Tripadvisor reviews, but we did not find the quality of our room to meet the standards of reviews that we read. Our room was large, but our bathroom was old and not as clean as I would have liked . The location of the hotel is good, just down the street from the night market. The people who work there were all very helpful. There was no wifi, but there was a computer in the lobby that was available to guests. The breakfast was served downstairs in a cute little area and was good.

I think that Villa Phathana has some good qualities, but I would not stay there again. I found other places in town for the same price that are more suitable.
