My husband and I have just returned from an 8 day stay in Karachi. We stayed in the Beach Luxury hotel a 3 star hotel . We were so impressed by all this hotel had to offer its guests, we decided to share our experience with others who may need an affordable place to stay.
The Beach Luxury Hotel is an ideal place for families, young travellers, or any business person who finds themselves in this great city of Karachi.
The rooms are all Air conditioned, this is an essential as the heat of Pakistans summers can be extremly hot. If a powercut does happen, the generators are used in minutes.
The Rooms are fairly basic, but comfortable. We had a standard double. It has a TV to keep you in touch with all current news around the world. A fridge to keep your drinking water cool.
The bed was very comfortable as well.
Each morning a Room cleaner would come and change the beds with fresh laundry, and towels. On request he would fill the hospitality flask with boiling water so you could make your own tea/coffee at anytime when all you needed was a hot drink.
Room service is always available, and menu varied enough to please anyone.
Some pleasant little extra's came as a lovely surprise each day.
We had two small vases of fresh flowers placed in the room each day, a complimentary basket of fruit was also placed in the rooms each two, or three days.Sometimes we would come back into the room late at night to find a small box with traditional sweets next to our beds.
All rooms face the seafront , and views are all of the sea, and some of the many palmtrees that adorn the huge well mantained gardens. There is also a swimming pool, well cleaned daily.
Breakfast is included in the room rate price per night. It was a buffet breakfast with a wide range of breakfast foods, both tradional Pakistani, and Continental choices.
Lunch for us was taken from the room service menu, and very reasonable . We ate lunch daily in the hotel lounge, as it was so open and cool due to the sea breezes that waft around the lounge, and a chance to enjoy a time of natural air .
Each day there is a Hi Tea available in the OO7 Restaurant, from 4pm till 7pm.
It is the best 99 rupees worth I have ever seen. There is a huge array of both sweet and savoury goods in mostly traditional pakistani foods, and the is open to guests as well as outside guests alike, hence due to its variety and good value is often full by 5pm.
Our nightly dinners were taken on the only floating Restaurant in Pakistan.
It lays at the end of the gardens, and has a connecting bridge onto the seafront . The dinner consists of a buffet, with many choices of salads and all traditional dishes, non of which could ever be called too spicy for my western palate. I enjoyed fresh fish and salads most nights, and adding a few new dishes as well. It was a great place to entertain family and friends alike .
Live music added to a beautiful ambience made this a magical place to spend our evenings.
The staff of this hotel are extremely eager to please their guests
in every aspect of their stay.
A courtesy call is often made to ensure you want for nothing .
We wanted for nothing while we were staying at the Beach Luxury hotel, and found it hard to find something we didnt like.
We are can honestly say this is a 3star hotel , with 5 star services, a fantastic holiday for us, and we know we will go back again and again.
We really cant fault this place for value for money as regards food or rooms unbeatable.
