windmills hotel and their staff are really excellent in their work. i was staying in a different place, close to windmills hotel. this is my first experience in lahore and the different lace was a guest house. NEVER STAY IN GUEST HOUSES IN PAKISTAN. THEY ARE VERY VERY BAD.
back to windmills. their staff are very polite and nice, they attend to your every need, the hotel is 3 star officially, but operates like a 5 star. the hotel is a 6 storey building, rooms are very well made, carpeted, no electricity problems, service and food are VERY GOOD, rooms are very comfortable [just like any continental, marriott or sheraton room]. i paid US$92 per night, which is very good price, when compared to the cheap garbage hotel and guest houses headaches you can find in lahore or the ultra expensive PEARL CONTINENTAL or SHERATON.
windmills hotel receptionist, MR. HAROON, a young and cooperative guy, was even kind enough to bring a car and take us from the garbage guest house to the windmills, even though its not his job to do that.
Windmills is three star but its better than any five star, when it comes to service and food. After staying in all five star hotels and spending a fortune on sheratons, marriotts, continentals, holiday inns in more than 100 nations, I AM QUALIFIED TO SAY THIS.
