“Good experience!”

I stayed here with my husband for one night. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are large and well decorated. The staff was professional and very attentive. For breakfast even though there is a lot to choose from, i didn't like much of it. The food was very tasteless. I have had lunch there again with a friend at another cafe from the hotel and for the price, the food was bad.

Overall i would recommend the hotel but not its cafes and restaurants

This hotel is very clean and security is what hits you, when you first go through the initial barrier. For obvious reasons this is needed and after a period you begin to be known by the staff and it becomes a bit more relaxed.

The restaurants and food are fantastic Especially the Marco Polo restaurant which beats in quality and selection any external restaurant may offer. I ate their 1am and glad they had a 24/7 service. Nadia cafe is good to meet local friends in the hotel and is good for drinks and snacks.

Main issue with this hotel is that it is very busy and reception although manned with about 10 people on average still seems to take time for anything to be done.

Swimming pool was well maintained and gym is modest, but in the 42C heat we did not really need it.

Some local shops that seem to sell carpets mainly, more for perusing than buying real items.

We had a family room with a connecting door to the other room. Cleanliness is good however one comment and that is it can be pricy unless you negotiate.

“One night only”

The hotel was correct, but nothing special. The room was small and with very worn out furniture and bathroom fixtures. I have to made the bed myself because under the comforter it was "drooped" on the bed. The water is not complementary but the tap water is not safe to drink. The breakfast was nothing special and crowded, not because of the amount of people, the hotel was not full, but the setting of the tables and the buffet. Service was not diligent either. Not so bad if your expectations are not so high.

“First-class hotel”

We stayed 3 nights on the executive floor. Two adults and three children. The room was large and very sophisticated. However, the executive lounge was not good. They offered little food in the executive lounge and the quality of the food was poor. The service in the executive lounge was not great, either.

But, overall, our experience at the Pearl Continental Lahore was 8 stars out of 10.

“Expensive but worth it!”

Stayed here for a family wedding over December 2008. Very busy and noisy hotel so be aware. They dont seem to sleep in Lahore! Get a room in the new wing. Staff excellent although somewhat annoying as they couldn't sneeze without asking for a tip. 24 hour restaurant which became our extended lounge during our stay with friends. Good gym (ladies and gents seperate) and swimming pool. Was dubious about using the pool though as it was not covered when it rained. Cannot see women using this though. Very excellent restaurants in hotel - although you could possibly gatecrash one of the many weddings that take place constantly through the day for a free feed (joke!).
There is a hairdresser and beauty salon on site - I didnt rate them and they are expensive so beware!
Ps try the murgh tikka rolls....mmm my mouth is watering.
