I have spent 8 nights at Africana, during a business training. The meeting room (Ball room) was cozy and nice. It was furnished as requested, and the staff responded to all our requests. Sometimes the service wasa bit slow, however people were always smilling and doing their best to provide everything on time. The overall theme of the hotel is "Africa". So you can find hand made paintings on the walls of the hotel for Zebra, Lions, etc.... The room was very nice. Very clean and straight to teh point and the value that you pay.

I have spent 8 nights, so i can say i have tasted all kind of food. It is very tasty and has lots of varieties. Also the sweets are very good.

Tips: do not forget to prepare your food and eat outside the restaurant (by the garden), and ask the head waiter to have your dessert upstairs by the pool.

weekends: they have a guitarist by the pool, that offers a very good mood....

very good for kids, as they have a kids corner and a special pool for kids. While i was there it was not working but they tod me that in week ends it should be ok.

the only thing that bothered me is the room key card. It got always banned. So i had to go to the lobby to re activate it. at th begining they told me because i put t near to my I phone. However my colleaugues faced the same problems... so it seems they have a problem in their key cards system. However, people were really nice and deeply appologizing in each time.

P.S: it offers a very good values of money, in case of extras and service charges.
