This hotel is in the middle of nowhere 24 kilometres from Alexandria and almost impossible to find. Its only reason for existence seems to be a golf course and a half built and clearly failing housing resort nearby which has a sales office in the lobby.

There were only half a dozen other guests when I was there and the whole place seemed to be in mothballs.

Food was basic, rooms were OK . There was no hot water one morning.

There are much nice places with a view of an oil refinery and quarries in town.

Had slow reception service on a couple of occasions. Service at breakfast was somewhat variable - I got the impression some service staff didn't know what was going on or just forgot or didn't understand what I was aksing - perhaps just a language gap (my Eyptian is non-existent so I shouldn't grumble). Had a 'business' room which was nice. Location fine though out of the way but didn't seem to matter much to me. Tried a restaurant in the hotel and had pasta one day and salad another - both were OK, nothing stunning. Only significant grumble was checking in and being given a room where a wedding reception was going on outside in the hotel gardens, and the noise meant I couldn't get to sleep when I wanted to that particular night.

This hotel is of a very high standard. We had no complaints about our room or the service. The included breakfast was buffet with plenty of variety and of good quality. Our room and bathroom were very spacious and modern with large sliding doors leading to a balcony. For a one night stop the location of this hotel was not a problem for us however it was approx 1/2 hour drive from El Nouzha airport and the city, so consideration should be taken when transport is required. The hotel was not near any shops or town so services and shopping in the immediate area of the hotel is not possible.

first of all congratulation, I 've been in many hotels in alexandria, but this is by far the best quality among the FIVE STARS with fair price.

- The spa is great; good health massage - saved my day.
- Rooms are big and top designed - felt like at home.
