This is a beautiful newer hotel within 10 minute walk to old city center. Elevator, private balcony, very red-colored room. Just a 3 minute walk to a Hard Discount grocery store in the basement of a nearby department store. Private parking directly in front of hotel. Breakfast included in top floor of hotel, featuring the usual plus hard-boiled brown eggs and waffles! Tourist information center in old town square is very helpful with maps and directions.

This was a great last-minute find for a quick weekend trip from Bucharest. We traveled with my parents (age 70) and daughter (age 5), so booked one double room and one apartment. The double room had tons of space and my parents found it to be very comfortable.
The apartment had a bedroom and living room that were connected, but had no door to close them off from each other. The hotel staff left very comfortable bedding on the sofa for our daughter to sleep on, and there was a mini bar with assorted drinks. I don't know if the sofa pulled out or not, but there was another chair and a footstool to sit on, and we didn't spend much time in the room so seating wasn't a big concern. The bathroom was very clean and modern and the shower was fantastic!
Breakfast was simple but fresh, with several cereals, cooked sausage, hard-boiled eggs, toast, yogurt, juices, chips, and an assortment of cold cuts and cheeses. Coffee and tea were made to order.
Note: No coffee/tea kettle or corkscrew in the room. We were looking for a knife to cut some fruit and couldn't get one because the restaurant was closed. Not a big deal, but you might want to bring along some extras like this if you plan on snacking in the room.
Very close walk to old town center, with a slightly uphill walk on the way back. My parents didn't have a problem with it, but might be of concern to some.
Would definitely stay here again!

A very good 3 star hotel on the outskirts of the old town. Nice quiet location at the edge of the forrest and an easy 5-10 minute walk to the old town centre. Rooms were a good size with balcony and had comfortable furnishings. The range of the buffet breakfast is not huge but eggs are cooked to order and the rest of the selection is more than adeqate. All the reception staff ( Alex, Anna etc ) were very good and helpful and were most obliging to any requests. Would recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a good, clean 3 star hotel at a reasonable price. Brasov and the surrounding area is fantastic with easy day trips out to the many sights.

One important thing to note is that this hotel has no air conditioning. They provide a fan, but there was quite a bit of traffic on the street and some loud barking dogs in the neighborhood which made things a bit noisy when trying to sleep with the windows open. If air conditioning is not a concern, then this is a great hotel. Our “apartment” room included a nice sitting room with good size TV as well as a bedroom with a desk and a closet with plenty of shelves and hanging space. The free wifi did not work well in our room, but there is a cable available for online access. TV had a good selection of English language stations, but no news channels. The shower was fantastic! Location is very good -- about 5 minute walk from the start of the pedestrian area and 10 minutes from the main square. Breakfast was unimpressive, but it seemed fairly consistent with that we had had elsewhere in Romania – mediocre bread, hard boiled eggs, no real orange juice (just an overly sweet fruity juice), cereal, and a spread of meats and cheeses. The front desk staff was friendly enough and responsive when we needed a light bulb replaced.
