We stayed at hotel Pantex for 10 days, staff friendly and helpful, we had an apartment which was very clean, maid service every day, breakfast was adequate, location was good the exception being from a building opposite our room who had noisey dogs and a cockerel, we took a travel kettle and some cups to make our own hot drinks, it would have been nice to have some chairs on the balcony, the mini bar was very good value for money, we would consider staying here again in the future but not the same side of noisy building!

We loved this hotel. Only drawbacks were 1) location - for a minimal amount more I would stay at the Bella Musica right in the town square and 2) smoking allowed in the breakfast room.

The room was big, nice balcony, clean, and with a fantastic bathroom.

What we liked best
The room was stylish and confortable.
Semi-central position: it is possible to reach the city center (Piata Sfatului) in 10 minutes by foot. Just 100 m from a commercial center (supermarket, shops).
Friendly and helpful staff.
Our room had a wonderful view on the city.

What we liked least
No safe box in the room. No electrical outlet available in the room to charge the mobile phone (they were all occupied by room devices like mini-refrigerator and wireless router and it was written not to remove the plugs).
Breakfast was quite poor, especially about the variety of products available.

This is a beautiful newer hotel within 10 minute walk to old city center. Elevator, private balcony, very red-colored room. Just a 3 minute walk to a Hard Discount grocery store in the basement of a nearby department store. Private parking directly in front of hotel. Breakfast included in top floor of hotel, featuring the usual plus hard-boiled brown eggs and waffles! Tourist information center in old town square is very helpful with maps and directions.
