The Park hotel is a reasonable abode. Rooms are small, but clean, with quite nice small bathrooms. Matresses are not good and I do not sleep that well there.
Breakfast is very ordinary.
Location is about 10 minutes walk from city centre.
On the ground floor is a large bar and pool/ snooker hall,
Traffic is a nightmare in Sibiu.

Sibiu is a great place to be and a wonderful piece of European history.

The park hotel was friendly and clean, but needs improvements. Just the gold in the nice furniture won't do!!

the hotel in a quiet neighbourhood, but exactly in front of the place there is noise from taxi drivers and others, take a room at the back!

food in the restaurant gets boring and is rather heavy on fats, with few healthy stuff and no alternatives for porc meat.

the staff does not all speak english (evening staff does) and if you happen to want to check out early this might be problem.

reservations: I made several attempts to book online but all failed.

to be brief: park hotel wants to be among the better ones, but fails when it comes to service and the details, not worth the price.
