The hotel is located just outside the city limits at the edge of the Dumbrava forest (we took a lovely atmospheric walk through the ASTRA folk museum in the snow) - you can get a taxi or bus into the historic city centre for next-to-nothing. The hotel itself is more or less what you would expect of a Hilton but it has a warmer more personal vibe than most - we were given personalised recommendations for touring the old city by a dedicated staff member. If you enjoy spa treatments then there are a great range on offer, although they are quite expensive. We took a King Royal suite which was very spacious, complete with separate toilet and bathroom and a balcony overlooking the forest. We felt that this was great value, although not cheap by Romanian standards perhaps. We ate in the Romanian restaurant behind the hotel, and it was fine. If you only have one night in Sibiu you may wish to be closer to the centre (we thought about the Continental as the one in Bucharest is great, but the online booking was malfunctioning), but otherwise the Hilton is thoroughly recommended.

Very nice hotel near sibiu with all the facilities included: gym, spa, restaurant. The rooms are the wright size and are very clean. The food is good and the personal is very well prepared. If you are in Sibiu you shouldn't miss this Hotel.
