Varna is not spectacular and this hotel is a bit remote but it's really a little gem. It's very small and quaint. Everything seemed brand new and clean. I think it must have had a refurbish recently. It's right on a beautiful beach and all the rooms have a great view. The sea is clean and warm. There were plenty of sunbeds for hotel guests. It's not the kind of resort most people are used to, nobdy is trying to sell you anything or get you into their restaurant. It's very quiet and peaceful. On top of all that, the owners are friendly and the food and booze is really cheap (don't expect amazing food though, it's just ok and a bit oily), we thought the prices must be wrong! Dinner and a bottle of wine for two people was about 12 GB pounds. Cocktails were about 2 pounds, beer maye 1.50. I would recommend this wonderful hidden gem to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy the sea, read a book, have a few drinks. But it's not for people who are looking for fun, there's not many bars or anything in the area, though the resort of Golden Sands is not far away but I didn't go there.
