Stayed two nights here in September 2011. The hotel is lovely, with fin de siècle decor - best front desk staff I encountered on my two week trip! I had a medical issue while there, and they were most helpful in contacting my tour operator. After that was resolved, they always inquired about my health and gave great directions to places of interest and restaurants. The hotel is well- located on a quiet street -away from the bustle by the cathedral, and within close walking distance of many good restaurants in the center. Rooms are on the small side, but quite comfortable with usual amenities that worked well: A/C, TV, phone. Breakfast was adequate, but served the wonderful thick unsweetened yogurt (кисело мляко) that is my mainstay. Only negative I should mention is that the shower drains are flush with the bathroom tiles, resulting in a flood in the bathroom each time you shower. Drain notwithstanding, I would definitely stay here again when in Varna. Anastasia (front desk), you are the best!

There isn't a single thing I didn't like about this friendly and cozy hotel. Felt like home. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is perfect, very central. There is a nice restaurant just around the corner, and a Happy (nice place to eat) to blocks down the next street. Lovely! :)

i think it is one of the friendliest hotels in Varna. They helped us to rent a car, to find certain places etc. We had a luxury room, which was OK but did not like the shower. The room was really clean, good furniture and nice location. The breakfast was also OK except the coffee, but it is not their fault. Bulgarians do not know what coffee is (except the Turkish coffee they serve) However, 75 euros per night is a bit expensive for Bulgaria.
