There isn't a single thing I didn't like about this friendly and cozy hotel. Felt like home. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is perfect, very central. There is a nice restaurant just around the corner, and a Happy (nice place to eat) to blocks down the next street. Lovely! :)

i think it is one of the friendliest hotels in Varna. They helped us to rent a car, to find certain places etc. We had a luxury room, which was OK but did not like the shower. The room was really clean, good furniture and nice location. The breakfast was also OK except the coffee, but it is not their fault. Bulgarians do not know what coffee is (except the Turkish coffee they serve) However, 75 euros per night is a bit expensive for Bulgaria.

I would highly recommend staying at Hotel Hi if you find yourself in Varna. We were there during the low season, so they gave us a special price of 108 leva (cash) for a deluxe double room.
The hotel itself is a really cute yellow building in a good spot, about 10 mins walk to the main city area and the beach. The room was quite small, but really nice, and one of the few hotels we stayed at in Bulgaria with a king size bed without the gap in the middle as a result of pushing 2 single beds together.
What really stood out about this hotel though, was the reception staff. All 3 girls that worked there during our stay were brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble, they seemed to enjoy giving recommendations, and all spoke English exceptionally well. If we went out for dinner and they changed shifts, the new girl would already know about what we were up to and be very interested as to how our night was.
Although the price was higher than other hotels on our trip, it is still very reasonable by western standards and certainly worth it.
The breakfast is also really good - one of the best we had in Bulgaria.

The hotel is charming, nice room for a good price, great location: very central to the city and very close to the beach. Really friendly staff! They payed for the taxi on our arrivial as we didnt have any local currency and gave us a special treatment for a birthday occasion! Will definitely recommend this place and go back again.
