This hostel is small, with two dorm rooms and a combination lounge and kitchen. Dorm rooms fairly large, with twin beds rather than bunks, and comfortable mattresses. Price and value by far the best in Varna.
Two showers -- one a double shower, which is great! Bathrooms clean, whole place fairly clean, kitchen/lounge a little messy but clean.
Example of how nice the 1-person staff (Bobbie) is: The first day I was here there was a heavy rain -- cold day -- I found a little puppy on the street -- probably a month old -- soaked and shivering (there are lots of street dogs in Varna). I brought it back to Flag, Bobbie washed and dried it, and it is still here, thriving. Bobbie bought puppy food for it, and put its photo on Facebook on Varna Animal Rescue and Animal Hope Varna, for people looking to adopt street dogs.
Quiet -- not a party place, but pleasant, no-stress and very inexpensive base for your Varna stay.
