This hotel is on a quiet street away from center of town, but it is a walkable distance from center. The room is big, clean, and the service is most gracious. It has free computer terminal and web access, and great breakfast. The staff is very professional and welcoming. We ordered an extra bed, and when we got there the bed is ready and made up. We were impressed.

Spend a week in Imperial hotel last September as my company participated in the Plovdiv technical fair. The style of the hotel was excellent, the staff were very pleasant and helpful with directions and recommendations about the major city sights. Didn't try the food although if I had time the restaurant and the menu looked great but the 24hr bar was a great bonus. The services and general ambience of the hotel was brilliant. Overall a very enjoyable stay. Would definately go back next year.

Just returned from the Hotel Imperial park two days ago, and it was a fabulous way to end a 1-week trip to Bulgaria. The hotel is very cool--definitely up to the standards of my hometown of New York.
The intial smiley welcome from the door men was lovely after our journey. Our bags were taken to our room and we were given a good explanation of how all the different gadgets and lighting in the room worked.
The rooms aren't the biggest you will stay in but they are well thought out and high quality. Staff are very helpful, the food good and great cocktails.
Highly recommended.

Stayed here in August 2006 with a friend for a weekend trip to explore Plovdiv.

Although there was nothing "terrible" about the place I don't think it really lives up to what it costs to stay there and I'm certain there are better, more convenient places in Plovdiv.

Although it's quite out of the way and a little difficult to find as you feel like you're driving through a hybrid inductrial/residential area to get there, once you're past the gates, the grounds and exterior are actually quite welcoming.

The staff are all quite friendly and helpful as they can be and it seemed they all spoke english. The rooms themselves were a little bit of a disappointment. Very very small and only the most basic of furniture.

Since we were only staying a short time and only using it as a base, it was fine and met our needs, but when I go back I will certainly stay somewhere else as I'm sure there are better options for that cost.
