I have to agree with the last review in April 2011, describing the place as a hangout for unsavoury looking residents. The hotel was cheap, as in inexpensive but, based on a very short stay (one short evening with an early morning departure), it was also cheap in terms of maintenance and upkeep. The staff were pleasant and helpful, but the area around Albion appears to have been hit hard by the recession, with several closed restaurants, and even the open restaurants (eg Pizza Hut) looking very run down and poorly frequented: this hotel was not an exception. The coin laundry in the hotel looked functional albeit rundown, the ice machine was broken and we did not check out the pool. In brief, this was probably formerly a nice place to stay. These days, I would not want my daughters staying there alone.

I checked in on Friday and by Sunday my credit card was stolen and maxed out by a local worker at the hotel. The hotel was dirty, hookers staying there, drug addicts there, it was loud and very dirty. Do not stay there unless you want an STD or some infection from how unclean this place was. The staff was horrible and not friendly. I got no sleep because there was a hooker next door doing different johns all night long! The worst part was how my credit card was stolen and had to open a fraud case to take care of it. Never again will I stay there. I do not recommend this place at all, and for everyone to stay away from it.

The building is older but its staff greeted me with a friendly smile and all were generaly happy that my family and I were visiting them. and thats what it feels like visiting a family friend. after reading some of the reviews we were a little worried but the rooms and hotel are Clean and well maintained. we had no problem with any type of noise issues coming from their banquet space. the ice machine worked fine and the indoor pool was a joy my kids could not get enough. As for the Price 59.00 a nite seems like a great deal concidering the prices of the hotels in the surrounding area.

I'm writing this review directly from the room in this dump! We didn't read any reviews before coming here so our only expectations were a quiet stay. First and foremost when I walk through the front doors with my wife and 4 kids, (1 infant) There's loud bass and a line to get into a conference room that looks like a line to get into a rap concert. Men were looking at my wife and checking her out in a disrespectful manner.

First words out of the front desk ladies mouth was, "One of our employees is celebrating his 40th Birthday party, the loud music shouldn't effect your room." We are not shocked that the incredibly loud bass did rattle our room....and it did so until 3am! But that wasn't the end of it..oh no...After they finally stopped blasting music in the conference room, the rap concert moved to the cars in the parking lot.

We called and complained which did no good, around 4am people drunkenly yelled in the halls going to their rooms, waking my baby and kids. This morning when we woke up we wanted to cancel our second day and complained about the noise and they assured us that was a freak occurrence and they were terribly sorry and she will talk to her manager about giving us back half of our money, we accepted and left for the day.

Tonight when we arrived back at the hotel the parking lot was full to the brim, and again there was a line to get into the conference room yet again. We immediately go to the front desk like what now!? They tell us it's a wedding and it's over at 10pm. Well here I sit typing this review and it's 11pm and the music is blasting. We called and complained as did our neighbors because there are a group of unattended kids running up and down the halls screaming.

You'd say it cant get worse right? wrong, our beds are hard as a rock, the bathrooms are dirty and the rooms stink, we will never return here. I will never recommend this place to another and when I see the manager in the morning I'm asking for a total refund
