My friend and I booked a one-night stay in Mostar on our way from Sarajevo back down to Split and got a room at Motel Deny. The building is really nice and newly redone on the inside, and definitely feels like a secure place to sleep and stay. We ended up with a double bed instead of the two twins we had expected, but Deny apologized profusely and we didn't mind at all because the room was so spacious and clean that we were happy anyway.
Even better than that, however, is the bathroom. I've done a good amount of traveling in my days and value hotels/motels/hostels are not known for having spectacular bathrooms...but Deny's was wonderful. It was big, clean, and felt like it could have been my own bathroom at home. Such a nice change!
The location is great too as it is a short walk to the bridge and restaurants and shops. Deny gave us loads of recommendations of where to go and I never stop appreciating places that include a pickup and dropoff at the bus station. My friend and I were low on Bosnian marks by this point so Deny bought us coffee before we left. Awesome guy and he's running a really great place there. Highly recommended for a stay in Mostar before he realizes how great it is and can start charging more!
