After backpacking through Eastern Europe for a month, this little hotel was luxury... though I suspect that we would have been quite impressed even if we had turned up here first. We had a double bed apartment which, while not enormous, was stylish, clean, comfortable, well-sized for two and - best of all - cool in the mid-summer heat.
Location was barely minutes to the old town, right in the thick of market streets and moments from THE bridge - and yet the night was quiet with noise only from the bubbling river next to the hotel. Didn't eat at the hotel (there are more than enough options in town to be spoiled for choice), but it does have a nice shaded, outdoor area where you can enjoy a cold beer.
For a three star establishment, it set the bar high... including staff packing us a takeaway breakfast when we had to leave early in the morning before our standard complimentary breakfast could be eaten.
