We stayed at Pansion Rose in Mostar for two nights. As many reviewers have noted, the hotel is not very close to the old center - and is a decent-sized walk down a major street with poor (at some points non-existent) sidewalks. We didn't feel comfortable on the street at night, and it was eerily deserted during the day as well (except for the traffic).
The service at Pansion Rose was indifferent - we didn't feel very welcome and the owner didn't make an effort to help us with bus travel information, etc.
The hotel itself is more than adequate - the rooms are quite clean, and the breakfast was good. However, it is just too far from town, and I would recommend picking accommodation closer to the Bridge.
