“Warm welcome, clean spacious bedroom and excellent tour of Mostar and surroundings”

Nina's mother was waiting for us at the coach station and that was the beginning of the great welcome we received in Mostar. We had free internet access, access to a shared bathroom, and an excellent tour of the surrounding area by Nina's hubsand - Off the beaton track. Do take the tour - highly recommended, Nina's husband also gave us a tour of Mostar in the evening and he hanged around with us even when his football team, FC Velez Mostar won a momentous victory in the local derby and he should have been there to celebrate it with his friends. He took us along after the match to see the team in the town centre and then we ended up celebrating with a free drink at the bar he runs in town! Do visit it, the stay was unforgetable!

“Just fantastic. Lovely family run hostel”

We had such a fantastic stay at this hostel and I cannot fault it in any way.
The twin room was extremely spacious.
The hostel is run by Nina and her family. Her brother picked us up from the bus station and her mother drove us to the train station when we left. They were all lovely and friendly. Her husband took us on a fabulous tour around the countryside. I highly recommend that trip.
The location is good - just 5 minutes walk to the old town.

This was the best hostel I have ever stayed,Nina and her family was incredibly nice, warm and helpful.Hostel is new and modern,we stayed in double room, which was spacious, clean with air con and tv.Bathroom was super clean and modern too!Location is great, only 5 minutes from the Old Bridge and they offer a free pick up/dropp of to the bus station for FREE,there is nothing to much for them, even our bus was very early at 7am.
Ninas husband and brother offer some nice activitis such is rafting, city walking tour and Herzegovina tour.
We take that day trip around herzegovina and it was one of our best day in 20days long trip.DO THE TOUR IT IS AMAZING!Ninas housband will tell some stories from the war,he is an exceptionally knowledgeable guide.
I am grateful to Zika(ninas husband) for sharing his experiences of a time that must be difficult to talk about.

WE WILL BE BACK;for sure!

“Clean, well equipped hostel.”

We stayed in the main hostel (I was unaware there was an overflow) and were given traditional sweets and ice cold spa water upon our arrival. The triple room was spotless, spacious, had aircon and comfortable beds.
It was tucked down a quiet side road about a 10 minute walk from the Old town and Bridge.
Great place, though maybe could've done with more than one shower and toilet per floor.
It also offered day long 30 euro tours of the local area taking in (excuse my spelling) Blagaj, Kravice Waterfalls, Medugorje and a beautiful little Ottoman Vilage.
This was my favourite stop on a tour of all of the Baltic countries. Mostar and surrounding region is beautiful and this hostel enhanced our enjoyment of the area.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the new/main hostel building.

“Good choice”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 August 2011

We stayed for 1 night in the 3 bed-room which was clean and spacious. We had the bathroom next to our room. The bathroom could have a been cleaner but it was acceptable.
The hostel is a bit far from the bus/train station (approx. 25 min. walk) but since they offer pick up at the station (they also offer to bring you back to the train/bus station on your departure), it can be easy to get to the hostel. This said, it is close to the ciy center.
Nina and her husband are very friendly, generous and helpful. There is free internet and you can use the kitchen. For the price, it is a very good choice!
