“What a treasure!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 April 2010

As it was a spur of the moment thing to stay overnight, we saw this hotel on our way into Mostar. So glad we did!!!!... It was stunning!..... nice big SPOTLESS clean rooms! The location was perfect couldn't have been closer to walking delights of this great city. The owner was amazingm - so friendly and helpful we coulnd't have asked for more!.... We had drink in the outside area and it was beautiful - water running close by, mood lighting just a perfect end to the day!...

“Beautiful gem in the heart of the old town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 September 2009

As we were only staying in Mostar for one night we didn't book in advance. We turned up and looked for some signs for apartments or hotels. The sign for the Old Town Hotel indicated it was only 100m away so we headed there. It ended up being probably about double that distance but it was worth the short walk. The fairly new hotel is absolutely stunning and the owners are very friendly. With only 10 rooms there is a real personal feel. The room was immaculate with a balcony looking over the beautiful hills and part of the old town. You are literally in the heart of the old town as the signs say so it is perfect for exploring especially if like us you do not have much time. Breakfast is a generous and varied buffet (which is great for me as I'm vegetarian so appreciate anything more than bread and cheese). It was a little out our budget (130 euros for a double room) but we were so blown away by the location and the actual hotel that we thought we'd treat ourselves. And one really nice fact about the place is that Martin Luther King III stayed there is May this year!

“Delightful gem in Mostar”

On recent a trip to Bosnia-Hercegovina, we visited the storied city of Mostar. As is our custom, we drove into the city with no hotel reservations. Meandering through the streets we stumbled onto the Old Town hotel. It was so attractive from the outside that we walked in thinking we probably could not afford it. Our hotel budget is typically in the $100 to $150 range. To our very pleasant surprise, the owners accommodated our budget and from there things just got better.
The room, with attached bath, was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. Duvets covered in soft silk, color TV, desk, etc.; ample space to spread out. Breakfast was included and the lady of the house served a sumptuous one! Cheese, cold cuts, fresh juices, coffee, tea, the works.
When I had trouble connecting my laptop to the hotel's wi-fi, the owner not only loaned me a router, but came up to the room and helped me get it connected and working. Now that's service.
Located just steps away from the famous bridge, Stari Most, and the sights of the old town, we spent a very pleasant 2 days wandering the cobbled stone streets.
If you visit Mostar, we strongly urge you to try out this hotel.
