“Very nice hotel in a very interesting City”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 December 2011

We liked the location of the hotel, there is car park nearby and it only 10 minutes walk from the old Mostar and the bridge.
Breakfast was excellent, nice buffet with local produce.
The staff was also very helpful.
The room was clean with a nicely fill up mini bar, it had a Queen size bed an a little kitchen.
The only problem was that I left my iphone charger and adapter and when I emailed the hotel I never got a reply!

“Great Hotel!!!”

My wife, two children (ages 4 & 2) and I stayed in a Executive Room in Hotel Pellegrino and had a great experience. The Executive Room has two queen beds, a small kitchen, table and chairs, large flat screen television, large bathroom, and a large balcony with table and chairs. The room was modern, clean, and although I couldn't find a thermostat to control it I think the tile flooring throughout the room was heated. The breakfast area in the hotel was also very nice, as was the large buffet style breakfast. I read on other reviews that people have had issues with booking through other websites. I would recommend booking directly through the hotel's website: http://www.hotel-pellegrino.ba/ we had no problems at all with our booking, and they were quick to respond to our booking request.

“Booking not recognised........”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 November 2011

We read the reviews on this hotel, which were generally good, and disregarded the instance of the booking not being honoured. However it happened to us as well.

It was odd, as I am sure that we had not even given our names before we were told that there was "no room at the inn" for us (although they apparently had others booking in that day). Perhaps they just didn't like the look of us ?

Anyhow, they almost immediately steered us in the direction of the Hotel Bristol (as had happened in the earlier review). Eventually we ended up accepting, and the Bristol was fine (see separate review), but we didn't get our first choice.

We were told that there was an issue with one of the booking agents (hotels.com) and they may have a point as the agents did not respond to my email.

Room Tip: Confirm your booking!

“Bosnian Hospitality at its best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 October 2011

When I found this wonderful hotel, the hosts welcomed me with a cappuccino and bowl of sweets. The hotel is well located, the hosts very friendly, with beautiful views of the old town minarets. I really enjoyed my stay.

“Couldn't be happier!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 October 2011

We are in week 3 of an RTW so inexpensive, good value lodging is important. This hotel fit our needs nicely, and luckily, the staff upgraded us to an apartment for the price of a room. They said it was a "gift" because we were staying 3 days, but who cares. Cooking gear was minimal, but we improvised and things were fine. The hotel is spotless, the service, location, and breakfast are great.

Room Tip: Our room was on the 4th floor, and was always a little warm. Lower might be a bit better
