“Great value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 November 2010

Just a short walk from the bus station. Situated in a small quiet lane about a fifteen minutes walk to the old bridge and the interesting historic centre of Mostar.
Very helpful owner, spacious clean rooms and a nice breakfast.
The day I left it was raining and the owner gave me and a Japanese girl a free taxiride to the busstation.

“Great accommodation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 October 2010

Loved Mostar and loved our accommodation at Villa Mostar (2 nights). We arrived by bus (bus and train station same point) and only short walk to accommodation. Very clean, quite, modern, comfortable and roomy. Owner could not have been more helpful and when we had to catch the early train on the day of departure he gave us a takeaway meal (very good). Only negatives; no fridge in room or common area and bit of a walk to the bridge but it wasn't a problem for us. I would highly recomment this accommodation.

“Large room with central location and friendly host.”

We chose Villa Mostar because of the reviews and we weren't disappointed. The room was large with a separate lounge/ kitchenette and a balcony ( all for 50 Euro) but I think this room was the largest ( room 204) ..The owner was very friendly and helpful and offered us the use of his laptop because the free computer was broken!! The location is ideal 10 minutes walk to the old town area so it is near to everything, parking was also not a problem. It was a great choice to explore the lovely old town of Mostar.

“Reliable, comfortable in middle of Mostar”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 July 2010

All in all, a decent bet. About a 15 minute walk to the old center of Mostar, the Villa Mostar is a recently modernized townhouse overlooking the Neretva river. Large, comfortable rooms (be sure to ask for a/c), very friendly proprietor and a fair breakfast make for a decent deal and a respite from the pace of the immediate center. Internet is fairly intermittent, but no other complaints.

“Roomy and clean”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 April 2010

Judging from the signs around Mostar, Villa Mostar is one of the more expensive pansions in the town (we paid 42 Euro for a double). However, even with nothing to compare it against, I think the price is more than reasonable.

It's spotlessly clean, and our room was quite spacious (it actually had an extra single bed). Guests get access to the back garden, which overlooks the river. There's also a computer, with (relatively slow) Internet access, that you can use free of charge, and the owner tells us there will be Wi-Fi in the next few months.

The owner (and his wife) is very friendly, speaks excellent English, and is very honest about the town and what there is to do and see there.

There's a mosque nearby, but that didn't cause us any issues with sleeping.

A tip on finding Villa Mostar. Heading east over the Titov Most (Bridge), take the first right and walk about 200 meters, and look for a red sign.
