The only really good point about this hotel is the location - right in the beautiful old town of Kotor. As for the hotel itself: it's rather run down and rooms need some renovations and new furniture. We didn't have a view, only the wall of the next building, but at least we could open the window. Breakfast was more or less ok, but nothing special either. For what you get the 90€ per night are certainly too much!

With regard to the comments in various guidebooks that the old town is super noisy: this might have been the case in the past, but when we were there (for 2 nights) it was rather quiet. Anyhow the bars close at 1 am, so even if you are very noise sensitive the biggest part of the night is quiet.

We arrived in the bus terminal in Kotor from Dubrovnik. (about 3-1/2 hrs, sit on the right side of the bus for spectacular views!) The Old Town is a walkable 10 minutes from the bus terminal. The hotel sent a great photo of the old city (complete with arrows) and how to maneuver the streets to reach the hotel. Reception was cordial and helpful. We were in a double room with a small balcony with a great view of the fort behind the city. No problem with nightlife noise. Breakfast was good enough to get us started for the day - eggs, bread, cereal, juice, coffee/tea. Restaurants and eateries close by, Internet on the main square as you enter the town - great place to grab an ice cream! Lots of ATM's in the Old Town. Local market outside the walls - a great place for people watching. Take the walk up to the fort - (take water) - breathtaking views of the lake and the city. Wish we had stayed another day.

We loved Kotor! Magical city like a miniature Dubrovnik but without so many tourists and felt more real.

The hotel is in a great location in town, but is not memorable. Although efficient and well run, we were slightly disappointed with our room, which was in the attic and lacked headroom in all but a small strip near the door! Other rooms may be fine. The wood panelling throughout gave the hotel a warm feel, and breakfast was OK.

The room is very basic as is the hotel itself. It all has the East bloc feel.

The hotel is right in the middle of Kotor.

My room was amazingly loud because of all the tourists hanging out in the little square directly under my window.

Breakfast is included and they make any sort of egg dish you want.

Think twice about staying more than one night in Kotor, though. It is cute- but in 3 hours you have seen EVERYTHING. It is more or less boring after that, add in the very basic hotel, and well... you may be counting the hours till your plane takes you home, as i sort of did.
