We stayed at this hotel/restaurant because it was arranged by a local travel agent that my friend has knew. There was three of us so we stayed in a triple. The hotel is located about a 5 min walk from the main square on a side street that is relatively quiet. Our room was interesting to say the least. It had a big couch with 2 single beds, a third bed was set up in the middle of the room and looked like couch cushions piled up and covered up with a sheet. The bathroom was large, entirely tiled black (floor, walls ceiling) and clean. The room itself was memorable, the single beds were small but telatively comfortable. Sheets were a little worn but clean. The room was bright red and had an oversized chandelier that dwarfed anything else in there (lovely touch for those who like those little oddities that come when travelling off the beaten patch) - best part was that out of the 30 or slots for light bulbs, only 4 were filled. We were there for 2 nights and the room was never made up, not sure if they missed it or if thats just the way it is. When its all said and done, the room was cheap 45 euros per night, it suited our purposes (sleep and nursing our hangovers) and the owner was friendly and accomodating. Most folks go to Novi Sad to have a good time, if that is the case for you, and you are not expecting the Ritz, this place works. FYI, Serbian hotels keep your passports during your stay so don't freak out when that happens. Oh, and the food at the restaurant is excellent...and we used credit cards with no issues.
