“Good Hotel, Amazing Staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 November 2010

I stayed in Hotel Gymnas from 12/11/2010 to 18/11/2010. It is one of the best hotels that i have ever stayed. The location was very quiet not far from the center of Novi Sad. The problem was that it was difficult to be found so I lost couple of times in the first 3 days till i find where exactly it is.
The room was great almost fantastic. I stayed in the 4th floor of the hotel in D1 which was large enough with big double bed and leather living room. The bathroom was also great with a jacuzzi. I really enjoyed sitting on this living room, drinking my coffee and watch tv or listen to music.
The only bad thing was sometimes that the jacuzzi was not so clean and one day the towels were dirty.
The money worth for the stay. The hotel is full of fitness facilities. Unfortunately i only used the sauna once as I am not so fitness man.
A lot of thanks to this amazing staff. It was really the best that i have ever seen. It helped a lot in everything that i have asked, always warm and smiling, very good usage of English and always helpful. The two suggestions of restaurants from them were really amazing and i enjoyed great meals there in low price.
I am looking forward to come again as soon as possible.
Hvala :)

“Nice hotel in Novi sad”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 October 2010

I stayed in hotel Gymnas only for one night. Everybody was really friendly and helpful. As I arrived early in the morning, before check in time, they have arranged for me to leave my luggage and change. Room was nice and spacious. Wasn't as clean as I expected it would be though. Great value for the money. Would definitely recommend.

I stayed in Gymnas hotel for three nights in September 08
(25-28). There was no problem at all. The staff is very friendly and they all speak English. We have asked for transportation from and to the airport and it was great. Fast wireless internet even in the rooms. The breakfast was very good. Jacuzzi in most rooms. I believe everything was O.K.

“Denied Reservation”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 September 2008

Arrived in Novi Sad to break travel from Belgrade to Budapest. Took the taxi to the Hotel to discover it was in a remote part of town and under reconstruction. Then I discovered that they could not honor my reservation. They admitted that they should have informed me but the person who had that job simply forgot. Stay away from this place. We made a quick change to the Hotel Park which was better located and quite nice while only a bit more expensive.

“Nice friendly hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 June 2008

I never intended to stay in Novi Sad at all but with every hotel room in Belgrade being full for the Eurovision Song Contest it was the best alternative.

The hotel is modern and clean, tucked down a side street and the staff very friendly. I arrived early evening and was given one of the more simply decorated rooms (maybe not such a bad thing!) full of pine furniture, a very comfy bed and plenty of TV channels. The bathroom was sparkling with a huge separate bath and shower but no hairdryer it turned out.

I decided to walk into town which was a bit of a trek but very easy to find and worth visiting for the old town and citadel. I ended up taking a cab back because of a sudden thunder storm which cost next to nothing.

I managed to over sleep the the next morning but the hotel still managed to rustle up a big omelette breakfast and have a cab waiting for me to take me up to the bus station.

I thought it was excellent value and for business travellers or gym freaks probably even more so. I would stay there again.
