The hotel is located in a villa built in the beginning of the 20th century & really looks like a small castle. The rooms are huge with big windows, high ceilings, large bathrooms & have a retro look. By retro I mean only the decor - the pieces of furniture and the rooms themselves are well-maintained and new. In fact the hotel doesn't look Eastern European at all, on contrary it gives you a feeling of a little palace indeed. There's a fridge, a TV set & a phone in the room. The bed was comfy & the bathroom great. All the necessary bathroom amenities & bottles of drinking water were provided daily. There's a free Wi-Fi in the room either. Breakfasts were good, though nothing special. Yet coffee was excellent I must admit. Having a cup of coffee on the terrace was very enjoyable. The terrace is located in the beautiful courtyard with pine trees and flowers. The staff was very friendly & helpful, check-in and check-out was very easy and fast. The hotel is located in the very quite and prestigious neighborhood. The center of the city is within 15 minutes walking distance. I liked the hotel a lot - especially it's authentic atmosphere, it's amazing courtyard & it's serenity. I would stay there no doubt with great pleasure again. Though I must admit there are some minor drawbacks regarding the hotel. Since the hotel is a stone building it is very cold in the room, just like it should be in the real castle I suppose. There's a portable radiator in the room, but given the size of the room, it is not much help. So I think a more upgraded heating system would be very relevant here. I also feel that having more facilities in the room such as a coffee-maker, a safebox and an iron with ironing board would have been great.
