Having spent a short break at Villa Hresc I can not understand why anybody can make negative comments. Staff, room, location were prefect and could not be faulted hope to be back there soon.

Had a lovely apartment at Villa Hresc, huge balcony overlooking the sea and Zadar old town. Beautiful place to be. Best breakfast we'd had in Croatia and excellent staff with excellent English.
We drove into Zadar and thanks to the one way system, Villa Hresc wasn't the easiest place to find but as long as you have a map showing the one way directions it isn't too bad.
The walk into Zadar is fairly long, all the way around the yacht club etc, so use the little boatman if you can (5kn each) as it cuts your walk time in half! Loved Zadar itself. The sea organ is magical, nice restuarants and a lively family friendly atmosphere. Actually preferred it there to Dubrovnik and Split.
If you're in Zadar there are lots of boat trips and the gorgeous Krka National Park is only about 45 mins away down the ever empty motorway.
After travelling in Croatia this place was the dearest by far. They don't read your email requests properly. I request the quote to be in the local currency of Croatian Kunas but instead they respond in Euros. Thinking that this is currency they wanted as I have stayed at other places that insisted in paying Euros and they gave me the bill in Kunas. So after paying with my Euro cashcard the conversion was more than 11 euros than they originally quoted.
The staff are not very friendly. They only give curt responses. The room was located at the back of the building and not within the complex as advertised on their website floor plan. Definitely not worth €100. Their outdoor pool was disgusting. Old worn out fibre glass pool from the 1970's.
For the price look for apartments within the old town.
We tried to book with villa hresc and also received a confirmation of availability by e-mail. A day later we confirmed the booking but we would not receive a reply of any sort for another 2 days. In the end, after the third reminder e-mail from my part, they replied that the rooms were otherwise booked.
Not professional is the least y can say.
English was also poor.
This hidden gem of a hotel in the lovely city of Zadar was wonderful in every way. We stayed in the Mimoza apartment for three nights and loved it. The apartment was spacious, luxurious, and full of amenities. Our balcony overlooked the water, with beautiful views of the city. Excellent breakfast and swimming pool. It was a bit of a hike to Old Town, but that could be shortened by taking the local rowboat to the opposite side. All in all, a superb lodging experience.
