I traveled to Croatia last year with my husband and 2 children then aged 5 and 9. The location of the hotel was perfect, situated in a quiet village that had a good variety of restaurants serving delicious food at very affordable prices. Our most expensive meal (with wine) came to the equivalent of £50! There were also pizza restaurants where the most expensive pizza was £5. Prementura is a great place to go as a family, there are plenty of restaurants but not really any loud disco/drinking places. There is only a couple of shops selling the usual tat so there is nothing really for the children to harass you for!

The apartment block is very clean and well located. The rooms were large, had a balcony and AC. The pool is fantastic and is probably the only one in the village! There are only 6 apartments in the block so the pool was never busy.

The apartment has easy access to the beaches. There are so many to visit, each being very different!

I would thoroughly recommend this apartment if you are looking for a peaceful environment that is extremely varied. We will definitely go back!

We stayed at Sun Palace for 3 nights this Sept. Myself and my partner had a bottom room at the wonderful place. Our room was clean and tidy - and close walk to beaches. Premantura is beautiful - very natural, close to naturalist beaches, bike tracks etc. The staff at Sun Palace were amazing - recommended one of the best restaurants I'd ever been to (truffle chorizo!) and also were really helpful with seeking medical attention when I hurt my arm. Can't recommend this place enough :) oh and the pool was awesome too!

My stay at the Sun Palace Residence truly was a holiday to remember. Situated literally minutes from a breathtaking nature reserve and the charming town of Premantura, it has an unbeatable location from which to explore Istria. For those moments where you just want to relax and go nowhere at all, there is also a pool, large outdoor patio dining area and balconies with lovely views; perfect places to read, sunbathe and de-stress.

The owner Diana was able to direct us to the best that Istria has to offer, even arranging day trips, restaurant reservations, wine tastings, concert tickets and spa outings for us. She went the extra mile to make sure that our stay at the Sun Palace Residence was memorable and certainly succeeded!

Owner/Manager Diana knows the town like the local she is, and has gracious, efficient staff running Sun Palace. It's a very sweet, comfortable base with a great pool and easy access to national park beaches, Pula and its historical sites, and the rest of magnificent, largely undiscovered Istria.

Diana can recommend the great restaurants in town where we had delicious greek salads and fresh fish every night... she also helped to coordinate whatever extras we want - a customized & very informative wine tasting, gorgeous horseback ride around the peninsula, and so on.
