We arrived late off the boat from Zadar and had arranged a collection by the owners of the apartments. We would not have found the place otherwise as it is located in a residental area on the otherside of the city.

The hostel was done out to a very high standard, with a well equiped kitchen, lounge area and balcony. The rooms were basic but not bad for the price.

The main downside to the accommodation which a number of travelers commented on was the distance to Pula. The bus stop was not far from the apartments however it took 20 minutes to get into the centre of Pula. The last bus in the evening from Pula was 22.30 therefore you had the choice of a taxi fair or a 40 minute walk.

The main beach is a 20 minute walk and was one of the better beaches I have visited in Croatia.

I would recommend this place however if you don't want to have a 40 minute walk every evening after a few drinks in Pula then I suggest you find somewhere closer to the city.

This is a wonderful place to stay in Pula..wonderful facilities and a great host! However, if you only plan to stay in Pula for a short time, say 1 night, perhaps locate something a bit closer to the main town. If you are planning on staying longer, then this place is perfect! A great kitchen, good common area, nice balcony and good shower. Even though it seems like you are in a quiet suburban area, you will find restaurants, bars and a supermarket within walking distance. We arrived late and had a really nice dinner at a local restaurant..even had a complimentary shot of grapa with the restaurant owner!
