Hostel Marker was quiet, clean and very close to Dubrovnik's Old Town - it's really just outside the gates. For the money, it was a good choice and the owner was very helpful and friendly.

I traveled with my boyfriend, and the only problem we had was that the bed was two singles pushed together - with a slight gap in the middle. But that's not uncommon in Europe, so it didn't really bother us.

On arrival to the apartment we were met by the very helpful and genuine Marko. He povided us with all the help and info we needed. Our apartment was self contained on 3 floors right beside a beautiful little harbour perfectly situated right outside the city walls. Luckily we had a little cove/beach 2 seconds away from the apartment and could drop back to the apartment as often as we liked.
The apartment was spotlessly clean with fresh white sheets and towels. It waws the perfect place to come back to after a day of touring around dubrovnik.

It is absolutely worth every penny and I would HIGHLY recommend anyone to stay there.

Hostal Marker was amazing! The staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean. The hostel is located close to several hot spots in Old Town but there is always something fun happening there as well! It's a good hostel, it's look like a home, i missed a place to chat, drink, have fun. But it's ok to people that like some thing calm.I would highly recommend!

I chose this hotel after having read all the positive reviews here on TripAdvisor, but was enormously disappointed. Our flat was dark, in the kitchen the fridge door couldn't be closed properly so there was a constant leakage on the floor, very unhygienic. The bathroom was the worst, even darker than the livingroom, the toilet was leaking whenever flushed. The tap in the bath tub was also leaking. There were dead bugs behind the bathroom door. Also, the decor was distasteful, pictures of half-naked women in different positions on the walls, very embarassing as I travelled with my parents! My brother got a rash after sleeping on the very worn sofa in the livingroom. The manager was nice, but did not fix any of our complaints.
