This is the best view in town, it's breathtaking. Zoran, his brother and mother were super nice-we were welcomed with freshly made apple streudel. We had a rental car and upon arrival, Zoran came to a meeting point and we followed him back to the apartment. The apartment is clean and has everything you need. If you don't want to do all of the steps back after being out all day, you can grab a taxi or you can wind your way back on the streets without taking the actual steps. One night we grabbed some gnocchi, tomatoes, garlic and olive oil from the local store and made dinner in the little kitchenette in the room and sat on the terrace enjoying that view! Would stay here again, no question. (Go to LOKRUM island for the day and hike around, it was a pleasant surprise.)

We were very happy with our stay at Pension Stankovich. When I inquired about the room Zoran got back to me immediately which I didn't have with others places I checked with. Some never returned my request but I was glad they didn't because this is the place to stay! Zoran was great. He picked us up at the airport which worked out well. I think it would have been hard to find the hotel when you first arrive in town, before you get to know the area. So it was nice to not have to worry about finding the place on our own. The bus would have been less expensive but more of a hassle. We were in Apartment 1. The room was clean and nice. The terrace was shared with other rooms but was never an issue. Everyone used the terrace at different times so we usually had the terrace to ourselves. Views were unbelievable! Yes, it is a lot of steps to get to the old town but not too bad at all. Definitely worth it for the view. Only one thing that I wish they had in the room was a hair dryer. Not a big deal but would have been nice to have. It was nice having the refrigerator for drinks for the terrace. We would definitely recommend Pension Stankovich!

The views are to die for and the accommododation is beautifully clean and very comfortable. The frequently-mentioned steps were no problem to us - we are reasonably fit (ages 70 and 56) but no gym freaks. Anyway, there are taxi services; alternatively one can walk along the road - slightly longer but not as steep. Zoran, Igor and their mother Mirijana could not have been kinder or more helpful.

Great place to stay and great view. We had a balcony room that looked out over the city and old harbor.
zoran and igor were very helpful. Zoran picked us up from the airport. We were a short distance from the old city.
