We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here for three nights. It is ideally situated on a narrow side street off the main Stradum of the stunning walled city of Dubrovnik. We could walk everywhere, with access to all the sites. Our room was very clean, a decent size, and charmingly decorated in an Old World style but with everything we needed. We loved the breakfast, served each morning on tables set up on the cobbled little street, with big platters of fresh fruit to start and whatever we wanted from the menu. Delightful. And we loved the rooftop terrace, which we used to enjoy a bottle of wine from a nearby shop, to watch the sun down go down over this ancient city. The views are simply breath-taking.
Just be aware: this hotel has no elevator, and we were on the fourth floor. It was not a problem for us, but it could be for others, so ask about which floor your room is on if that is a potential issue. But do try to get to the roof terrace at sundown. You will never forget the sight of the encircling walls, the bell towers, the sea, and the swooping swallows circling overhead. Gorgeous.
