My husband and I stayed at the Bilicic apartments for three nights during our honeymoon in October 2011. It really was a great way to wrap up our visit to Croatia and added to the experience.

Marija picked us up at the bus station, which was really helpful when you are travelling to a foreign city. Marija also took the time to provide us with an orientation of Dubrovnik, which helped us plan our time. When we left for the airport, rather than having to take a taxi or the bus Marija drove us (we did pay her for this service, but were more than happy to because that was one less thing we had to worry about).

The rooms are clean and very spacious. The bathroom was across the hall from us, which had its advantages and disadvantages but really didn't effect our stay whatsoever. Wifi is included in the cost, which is great. Breakfast is not included, but Marija has a beautiful terrace where you can prepare your meals and eat while just taking in the ambience.

The location is 10 minutes from the Old City and really can't be beat. There's so much to do in Dubrovnik and 3 nights wasn't enough for us, so the next time we come we will definitely stay longer - and of course we would stay at the Bilicic Apartments.

Marija's habitation is a nice place, tastefully decorated. It is close to the old town.
There're about 4 rooms and 1 or 2 apartments.

LOCATION
5-10 minutes walk from Dubrovnik old town
There is a small supermarket 50m away

ROOMS
Rooms and the kitchen are well decorated
Each rooms is 20-30 m² with A/C, twin beds and private bathroom. Rooms are quiet: windows have double glazing: no noise from the street!


SERVICE
There is a big terrasse and a nice garden with a kitchen outside.
There's every kitchenware you need to cook: we took our breakfast there every morning and we prepared 2 diners.

PERSONNAL
Marija is a really nice woman. She's always smilling, she helps you if you need anything. Don't hesitate to ask her any tips for your stay in Dubrovnik.


CONCLUSION
We really recommand this habitation: it is calm, well decorated, close to the old town and Marija is really sympathetic, friendly and helpful.

Recently stayed for two nights in Maria's third floor apartment. There were four of us, traveling from Canada. The apartment was a perfect size. The apartment and bathroom were spotless!! We arrived early in the morning, 7 am. Maria picked us up from the ferry terminal and allowed us to check in early. The apartment kitchen is well stocked with everything you need for cooking. Air conditioner worked very well kept entire apartment cool. The view from the apartment is breathtaking!! We enjoyed both Maria's patio and garden and sitting on our private balcony at night.

I am a frequent traveler and have never met a host like Maria. She is amazing! Beyond accommodating. She did everything from picking us up at ferry terminal, drove us to the bus station, assisted us with laundry and recommended all the best highlights of the town and great places to eat.
