We stayed at Villa Antea for 3 nights. It was our first stay after travelling to Croatia from Vermont. We had arranged to have them pick us up at the airport. The driver was there and waiting as promised.

When we arrived at Villa Antea, The owner and reception came out to the patio to greet us, big handshakes and hearty welcome. We were then introduced to the area with a local map, highlights, and suggestions for getting around. All this while under the shade on the patio, enjoying local figs, and their homemade cherry brandy. Delightful welcome to Croatia. A wonderful beginning to a country far from home.

Myself and my husband headed off with our 22 month old baby for what we had expected to be a wonderful week in Croatia. At first appearance all seemed that it would be a lovely stay, we were told that our rooms would be serviced every 2nd day, with towel change etc. This did not happen at all in our 7 day stay. We had requested a cot for our baby and had been told that there was a local charge of aprox. 7euro per night, when we arrived they requested 105 euro, we advised them that we would pay 50euro, which we were told was there charge and the other 55 was being charged by our travel agent, they would not accept 50euro from us, and turned off our electricity and asked us to leave straight away with a 22 month old baby......this type of behavior was totally unacceptable not abit professional and almost treating us like criminals and we had been advised after contacted our agent only to pay 50 euro.
The accommodation was infested with ants, everywhere, it was too small, never cleaned and the owner was'nt capable of running his business correctly, and we also chatted with two other families that were staying there at the same time and they too had a terrible experience, they were being over charged for other things and found the owner rude and obnoxious. I would advise any one going on hols with a young family never to consider this accommodation, and only as a last resort if going with adults.

We have spent a couple of days, 2 parents and 2 youngs, in a nicely furnish appartment, 2 rooms, quite roomy with terrace. Unfortunately we did not have a nice sight but it was adequate. Parking is free in front of building, place is quiet, not far from restaurants and beaches. Bus is cheap and frequent to go to town center. Parking downtown is a nightmare, dinner-time excepted if you park in the public garage some 500 meters from the old town.
Next time we will require better sight, towards the sea !

Just returned following 2 weeks at Villa Antea and we had a lovely time. The appartment was clean and well stocked. We had a toaster, coffee maker and hair dryer supplied in the appartment. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Mia the receptonist who comes on duty in the afternoons was extremely pleasant and informative. She advised us where to eat and where to go.
There's a regular bus service every 10 mins to the city centre so its easy to get about.
We had the use of a lovely large pool in a nearby hotel. It was a 20 min walk away and uphill on the return journey. However it helped to keep us fit ! Recommended.
