Location and view can not get any better! It rates a 5! We stayed in room 2, with access
to the fabulous terrace, with million dollar views. The room was average, the bathroom small, and the shower leaked horribly. Cash only. If you are used to upscale, go elsewhere. For the view, location, and price point, it works. The are great amenities nearby, as stated in other reviews. Just accept it as is, and enjoy a bottle of wine from the terrace!

Affordable, unbeatable location, and that terrace!!! Ask for room with direct access, rooms are not great but I would stay here again

Location: can't be beat right beside the Ploce gate to the Old City. You are literally steps to the Old City. There is a fair sized Konzum grocery store just downstairs for any of your needs.

View: Absolutely sweeping views from the large terrace. You can see the walls of the Old City, the hills behind Dubrovnik, the small but busy harbor below, and the small rocky beach just beside the Villa.

Room: We were in Room 1, with direct access to the terrace. It was clean and had a small fridge. The bathroom could use an update, but that was minor. We didn't use the kitchen but you have access to it along with a living room downstairs. There is A/C but we didn't use it as with the terrace doors and window open we had a wonderful sea breeze the whole time.

We loved the Villa Adriatica and were sorry we only got to stay here one night as we could have spent days watching the activities just outside our room.

This is a wonderful location and very central with shops, bars and restaurants close by. The city view makes the place with the rooms on the simple side. Rooms with toward the terrace are very quite. Two rooms to the street more noisy but all have (working) AC. Parking is a nightmare as it is in most of the city so avoid a car or rent one from the hotel for a few days - parking fee was included in our rental.

We spend 7 days there and it was one of our very notable trips.

I would come back and also recommend this place to others with the remark that this is a European tourist hotel not a Marriott.
