Stayed for a week, it's a very good hotel (not seems like a 3 stars). My room is ok with a very good sea view, clean, the facilities of the hotel are good with a big pool and a poolside bar, entertainment is good all the evenings with a very nice staff, food is also good with a buffett plenty of choice.Bus stop is near to go to the old town.It's very near to Copacabana beach, So It was a pleasant surprise.

They say that they are only family-friendly hotel in Dubrovnik. I really do not know by what. Entertainment for teenagers, for which we have chosen this hotel, does not exist. The entire hotel has at its disposal 3 (three) balls for mini golf. Staff unkindly, except Mrs. Suzana at the bar and Mrs. Ivana at the reception. Unacceptably crowded restaurant during lunch. The problem is to get a few ice cubes in a glass, if you don’t buy a drink at the bar, because it does not allow the hotel manager. Horrible and funny at the same time. Location of the hotel is uninteresting, there is no promenade, and the city of Dubrovnik can be reach only by car or crowded bus with rude drivers.

Stayed in July 2011, with 2 small children. Hotel was very clean however service was very poor. For example the restaurant had only one highchair even though it advertised itself as a family hotel.

Part of a complex of hotels, the Valamar Club is a very clean hotel with beautiful common areas and pretty good rooms (although some involve a route march to get to and then may dissapoint if they don't look toward the sea - some simply look into bushes 12" from the window). A definite (but easy) bus ride into Dubrovnik town. The facilities of the hotel are good with a lovely pool and poolside bar, entertainment many evenings beside the pool - surprisingly well done by the staff (in the main). Food also pretty good and buffet style with plenty of choice. A short walk to nearby shops but these are dreary and drab and resemble a run down 1960's small town shopping precinct.
