“Great Flat superbly clean great location and price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 September 2011

Really clean and well fitted, ideal for a small family, nice little area outside of dubrovnik. easy and cheap bus into town every 10 mins. on;y downside was the rubbish live music you could just hear on your balcony from the Compass Hotel; but hey can't help that. We would stay again and are looking to book for our in-laws.

they even did our washing for free.

“Wonderful place”

The villa was recommended by our son who had stayed there a couple of years ago. He spoke highly about it and so it was comforting to arrive there knowing all would be good. The villa is in a lovely location with a fantastic view of Lapad bay. It is modern and extremely clean, well equipped and has a small pool perfect for a cooling dip. We stayed in the studio apartment which is ideal for couples, but there were also small families staying in the other larger apartments (with bedroom) too. Petar and his wife were most hospitable. Petar speaks good English and was certainly very interesting and knowledgable. Lapad is a lovely resort only 10 minutes from old Dubrovnik (by the frequent bus). The old city of Dubrovnik is stunning but crowded and hot. It was great to get back to our lovely cool apartment. The Lapad restaurants are plentiful and reasonable. We must say we found the locals to be very friendly, courteous and hospitable. Do go on a boat trip/fish picnic. Overall a really lovely holiday!!

“Lovely apartment, beautiful view, great location”

Villa katerina was the perfect location and apartment for our 6 day stay in Dubrovnik, with 2 children (boys, 5 and 7), first week July 2011. The accommodation was very new and spotless and was one of only 5 or so apartments with other 2 children families/older children/couples/ + owner; it had fabulous views over lapad bay; access to lovely coastal paths; the steps to the promenade and beach and 10 min walk to easy 10 min bus ride into town in the evenings, were seen as mini adventures by the children. Family who called to collect us on 2 afternoons were not made to feel unwelcome (they experienced this in their own accom). All these factors made it a very peaceful and relaxing introduction to dubrovnik and croatia and I would stay here again!

“Beautiful accommodation with priceless view”

I go to Croatia every year at least for couple of days. This year we chose to stay with my husband in beautiful town of Dubrovnik. It is still quite a challenge to find such private accommodation like Villa Katarina in Croatia. Place is located in quite area of Lapad, every appartment has a balcony with amazing and very calming view on the bay. Rooms are new, extremely clean, furnished very tastefully in modern style. Every appartment has a kitchen, so in case you feel like cooking a fresh fish, ask very friendly owners - Pero and Katarina who live in the same house. Pero is a real expert who can advise you where and which one to buy. Buying fish at a local market and enjoying private candle lit dinner on our balcony was definatelly one of the highlights of our holiday this year. We had a later flight and the owners let us without a problem to keep all our bags in the villa and they ordered taxi for us to the airport.
