This hotel couldn't be more ideally situated within the city of Split. It's literally a hop from the main squares and the promenade is very close too.
The rooms are basic, but adequately maintained. The bathrooms are clean, but the shower head wasn't fixed onto the wall, which was a little annoying.
The staff were friendly and allowed us to check into the rooms at 10am in the morning, which was really handy. You are required to leave your key with reception, and the reception person changes at different times in the day - and all you need to quote is your name. I felt pretty secure leaving my things in the room. The bells ring from 6am - which are pretty loud, but there's something quite nice about being woken up to the bells.
I would suggest that you don't eat at the 'oldest pizzaria in town' that is in the courtyard opposite the B&B - service is terrible as is the food.
I really enjoyed my time in Split, and this B&B was just the ticket for our Saturday night.
