We had a really nice experience here. You feel very welcomed. Our room was like a small apartment. It had a dining room, kitchen, big chair, nice bed, flat screen TV, and large bathroom. So, it didn't feel like a hotel room, it felt like your little place. Antonia takes care of you from the time you come, until you leave. She leaves you little goodies too...like cake and watermelon in your refrigerator. When you first arrive you will see that there is wine, orange juice, water, milk, coffee, sugar, cereal, yogurt, so you always have the basics. It is in a great location, b/c down the street are bakeries, gelato, and eateries. So, on our first morning there we bought goodies from the bakery for breakfast, because I am not a Muslik or yogurt lover.
She really knows how to decorate and the bed is SOOOO soft. Everything is very well taken care of. There weren't many draw backs except...the curtains don't close, so if there are guests on the other balcony - they have full view of you! So, remember to take your clothes on and off in the bathroom. (: I also learned to space our showers out. If you take two back to back the last person is getting cold water.
I like the location, it is in a neighborhood a little off the beaten path vs being in the busy, touristy Palace area. So, you have to walk up a little bit of an incline on a back street to get there. Maybe a 5-7 min walk, not far.
Listen to her restaurant recommendations: Sperum and Marul. They were our two favorite places to eat.
Loved it there, if you ever go to Split stay there!
