My pregnant wife and I stayed at the hotel for one evening prior to heading back to North America (7am flight). In addition to the rooms being small and containing some mould in the washroom, unbeknownst to us, the hotel was hosting a wedding that evening with music ultimately blaring well into the evening (i.e. 2am). In response to our complaints, the hotel staff simply indicated a sign was put up alerting arriving guests to the existence of a wedding (there was no such notice upon our arrival nor any mention by the front desk of the wedding). To top it off, the hotel GM showed very little interest in trying to make amends for our terrible experience. We embarked on our flight feeling very deceived and obviously exhausted.The first and last time we stay at this establishment.

The concierge was aloof and not in the least bit helpful. My room was so small that I had trouble entering it with my suitcase.
On the bright side the hotel has a beautiful garden and a delicious breakfast. In summer it's location is ideal because it's across the street from Split's very clean city beach. It's walkable to Diocletian's Palace downtown, but on the far side. This hotel may not be where the action is, but it's peaceful.

Hotels position is good, right above Bačvice beach. Overall, i can say it is ok, but i was not satisfied with 1 overnight i had there, cause of many reasons. They have extra small parking so i had to leave my car like it was brought there with a flood; lobby and reception small (staff really helpful and nice), hotel bar totaly expencive (unapropriate for hotel cathegory and overall condition).

When we came in the room we were unpleasantly surprised to discover ruined room walls full of stains and damages (chair, baggage, shoe prints,...). Beds are not cosy at all, carpet stains under the table and beside the fridge. Bathrom is a story of its own; soap jar was broken and dirty, mold all over the place...I came down to the reception in order to talk to the gentleman, but he could do nothing, as obviously all the rooms are the same. In case you take something more than standard, i suppose it gets better then.... Overall, it is not up to the standard, with 3* it could pass....

The Hotel Park Split is luxurious. But the breakfast, included in the price, is superb. It is located in a quiet neighborhood with free parking. A wonderful place to stay.
