Apartments Johnny is a modern building located in Podstrana which is about 20 minutes outside Split via the number 60 bus. The apartments are separated from the beach by the main road between Split and Omis which can, at times, be fairly busy. If you're travelling on foot the driveway up to the apartments is pretty steep and may be a bit challenging for less able visitors. However the walk is well worth it. The apartments are large, well decorated and spotlessly clean. Johnny and his parents are very welcoming and Johnny was extremely helpful with organising transport from the airport. During our stay we had some early starts and Johnny was happy to agree to provide and early breakfast for us - and he makes an excellent omelette!

Apartments Johnny is well located between Split and Omis and both are within easy reach on the bus. The nearby beach is stony but the water is crystal clear and more than warm enough at this time of year.

We enjoyed our stay at Apartments Johnny and would happily recommend them - good location, good rooms, great breakfast, superb welcome and excellent value for money.

Apartment Johnny in Split was possibly the best European Hospitality we were shown on our Europe Trip. This place was so relaxing and Johnny was so helpful. Croatians were so friendly to tourists!! The rooms were so clean, big and the air conditioning was magnificient. The beach is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. We asked him to find us a cab since there were 6 of us we needed a Van. He found us Tony and George and let me tell you they took us all over Split our entire stay, to see the best beaches and restaurants. As Johnny for Tony and George, trust us you'll love it!! We will definately be back, hopefully sooner than later!!

Stayed for one week, which I think was the hottest week of the year, hence the mention of good air conditioning!

The taxi from the airport can't get right to the apartment but on arrival the driver spent 10 minutes on his mobile speaking to Johnny who then came down to see if we needed a hand with our luggage. Spotlessly clean when we arrived and we had Johnny's phone number incase we needed anything.

Great spot of the town, only minutes (ie less than 5) away from the main centre and seafront but just far enough that you could escape any noise from the centre.

Easily enough space etc for a couple.
