We stayed here one night and loved the location of the apartment- a 2 minute walk to Dioclesian's Palace and a 10 minute walk to the ferry/bus terminal. The apartment was clean & comfortable, though our room was small for two people. (The owner had given us the smallest room because we had cancelled the first night and she wasn't sure if we were coming). The owner doesn't live in the building, so be sure to stick to your estimated arrival time or call her to let her know when you'll arrive. We had to call her once we arrived and wait around until she got there. Didn't really bother us, but I could see it bothering other people.

This was a great hotel for a night in Split. We arranged to be picked up from the airport by the owner, who was waiting for us when we arrived. The 45 minute drive into Split was a lot cheaper than a taxi would be. We parked about 10 minutes walk from the hotel, as parking is quite difficult nearby. The hotel has only 3 or 4 rooms, one on each floor, with a steep wooden staircase leading up to them. The room was small, but very clean, with a bathroom attached, air-con and TV. Lidya gave us a map, and we headed into the city, with the Riva only a 5 minute walk away.
Perfect location for sighseeing in Split, and a very good price.

We were let down badly by this place. Despite having a confirmed reservation by email from the owner Lidija, we discovered on arrival - after waiting 10 minutes on the doorstep- that our room was not available. Her excuse when she finally phoned was that she had gone out of town so we couldn't stay there, but had arranged another place for us. So after a long trip by bus, and a 20 minute walk with our luggage from the bus station, we then had to trudge up the hill to another 'apartment'. By this stage it was late, we were very tired so had little choice. The owner of this apartment was not there but phoned to tell us to pay the full amount in cash to his non-english speaking maid. He was obviously reluctant to have us and told us we needed to vacate the room the following morning by 10am. Not a great start to our holiday!! However we did go back to the restaurant opposite Lidija's called 'Buffet Picaferaj' where we had a delicious & inexpensive supper of prawns & sardines. During supper we saw some foreigners going into Split Central Apartments so maybe she had overbooked and bounced us??

We stayed here in July 2007 - cost €55.

We had a en-suite room on 1st floor (no lift & narrow stairs).

The room was nice, bright, good shower, very clean, good space to pack away (cupboard above bed) your stuff but not much space to leave the suite cases open. Fantastic air-con which is essential imo in July.

No breakfast but there is a small restaurant just outside (no noise from it in your room) where you can grab something if you can't wait the 5min it takes to walk to the centre.

The location is excellent.

Owner was very friendly.
