I've just checked out of this hotel after 2 nights on business. I was on the 14th floor in a very basic room, not even provided with tea/coffee making facilities in the room which I've never experienced before. The vertical blind had slats missing so all night I could see the golden Arches of Macdonalds down the street, luckily being so high up in the hotel, I don't think I was overlooked! The hotel is situated on a busy junction where traffic only realy dies down for a few hours in the middle of the night. The corridors are not carpeted so you hear every footstep quite amplified as they pass your room so if you want a restful stay, this isn't the hotel for you. The reception area is quite impressive and staff do their best to understand you and attempt friendliness. I was told the restaurant was on the 8th floor, I also clarified this. Food and service in this restaurant is extremely basic too. It wasn't until I checked out this morning that I saw a restaurant on the ground floor which looked much more inviting. Unfortunately as I opted out of breakfast this morning (after being served cucumber and salami for breakfast yesterday), I didn't have time to check the other restaurant out - shame I wasn't told about it! Am glad to be sat at the airport as I write this heading home to civilisation.
