To keep things simple,I'm never going back there ever. The hotel is located in the new part of the city which, architecturally,is typically communist in design, but at least the beach is near. The hotel itself is very dirty, almost like a cheap hotel that it is,but for the 3* that they show off,I would rather stay in a cheaper but cleaner hostel. The room was renovated perhaps 10 years ago (even the walls were dirty !!) and we had to share a bathroom with another room (but that was my mistake because I didn't know what "twin economy bedroom" means). Housekeeping came every once in 2 days just to bring us clean towels. Vacuum cleaning the floor was more than a challange,it seems, for the maids because the floor was dirty from the previous inhabitants when we arrived and it's still dirty today (maybe there's a hotel policiy of cleaning only after God knows how many guests!!). The hotel staff should learn more basic english, which is a general advice for all ukrainians if they want more international tourists. Accomodation is very expensive in Ukraine and even that, maybe, isn't a guarrantee that you will find a clean room... Food and drinks and taxis are cheap however. If you are in Ukraine, don't be cheap on lodging,my advice. And better learn some basic russian.
