We got a large and spacious double room which felt bright and airy. The beds were really comfortable and we slept like babies. Spacious bathroom with an excellent shower (the water is hot, temperature is stable and easy to ajust and water pressure is good). Rooms are clean and have ajustable climate control. Room standard is below a 4 star hotel in western Europe but so is the price. All together it is very good value for money.
The staff at the reception spoke very good English and were very helpfull.
We didn't try the breakfast as it was not included in the price and we found it a bit expensive at 100 hryvnia. There are good breakfast places in the area, e.g. Kompot cafe.
The hotel is within walking distance from the railway station and is located next to the huge and colourful Privoz market. The only drawback is actually the location. It is roughly a 2 kms walk to the area around Deribasovskaya street where lots of restaurants, cafes and bars are located. There is a tram but it stops running around midnight. The walk back at night felt perfectly safe though and we never used taxi when going back. There is also a tram (#5) from the hotel to Arcadia beach.
I would recommend this hotel if you don't mind not staying in the middle of Odessa's restaurant area.
