Location [arguably] a bit outta sorts for typical city-dwelling, excitement seeking noise lovers of city square, but I felt safe very welcome. Staff made me feel welcome, excellent
gym if thats your sortta thing while travelling; you might actually need it bc the food is EXCELLENT and aplenty; gym staff/trainer [ my new friend Igor] available and helpful; nice pool; the off-beat location lends itself to nice privacy, relative queit and nice seclusion and poll area. Hotel is big enough to have privacy around other guests yet not get lost; easily navigated. The location might be arguable if stepping out to city square is your goal, but not as bad as peopel make out. I woudl definately stay there again, depsite cost, as I'm not only a creature of habit but I also believe these folks appreicate your patronage. VERY CLEAN and helpful. Their Internet is very good connection shoudl you require. With more patronage, I'm thinking more cab drivers & airport folks will become more familar with the location.

Otrada was the most pleasant hotel stay I have had in Ukraine to the present date. The room had both cable and wi-fi internet capacity. There was a young gentleman on staff who was able to trouble-shoot and keep my connection up several time during my stay. I had a standard VPN utility on my lap top that worked excellently with the local ISP provider. I would have never guessed that I could have my english based computer / connection problem solved by the door man. Amazing. The room was finished in new fixtures in the bathroom and hi quality wood work. The matress was made of new high density memory foam. Very comfortable. The food was excellent. The dining room and lobby staff spoke very good English. Futhermore, the Chef and head waitress were engaging and pleasant, well beyond the bounds of simple business necessity. This was a real surprise. They were very warm and welcoming. The on site gym included high quality lifting and cardio equipment; all of it clean and polished. The complimentary breakfast was of the same five star quality as the main menu, eventhough it is complimentary with the room rental. The staff at the front desk spoke English very well. I cannot say enough good things about this establishment.

Outstanding hotel in all respects. Lobby and bar staff friendly and helpful. Wonderful little restaurant with excellent cuisine. A small, intimate hotel in upscale resedential neighborhood.

A bit of a walk to city center, but a good way to get a feeling for more of the city than than if centrally located.
